The Astronot Wins Best International Feature Film at the Heart of England Film Festival

The Astronot movie by director Tim Cash of Far From Earth Films & screenwriter Pennan Brae won Best Feature Film at the Heart of England Film Festival in Coventry.  The Astronot takes place between 1941-69 & follows the life of Daniel McKovsky from boyhood to adulthood in Central Oregon.  Daniel’s passion is space; he dreams of becoming an astronaut & space travel before there is such a thing.  His Buck Rogers novels from the 1930s fuel his curiosity.  By the time he’s an adult, the space race is underway & Daniel is captivated.  He watches every mission of Project Mercury, Gemini & Apollo.  Yet he does so alone.  It’s not until a young postal worker named Sandy walks up his driveway & into his life.  That’s when things would change for The Astronot.
